Fall Campaign Updates: SPEAK UP!

With less than two weeks left for the major votes on both campaigns, our aim is to uplift as many stories as we can around these two campaigns. We need to increase our voice and presence to ensure elected officials center community participation in public decisions.

SAISD School Closures:

November 4th at 11:30 at 1416 E. Commerce: Story Sharing Event at SWU

Send a visual message to the school board. We’ll be inviting the media to interview our base. Even if you are shy, come by and support by being an extra in the background, or holding a sign. This event is right after our monthly member meeting.

November 13 at 5pm at 514 W. Quincy St.: SAISD Board of Trustee Meeting

This is the big vote. Bring your signs, kids, and be in solidarity with the hundreds of people fighting for our schools.
