ORGANIZING SCHOOL OF JUSTICE

The Southwest Workers Union’s Organizing School of Justice program is a transformative experience for young individuals passionate about environmental justice, civic engagement, and political activism. Reviving the legacy of SWU’s 1997 program, this initiative empowers youth of color and queer communities, cultivating leadership and critical thinking. Interns engage in diverse areas, from influencing policy and advocating for environmental justice to exploring creative expression for social change. Through hands-on experiences, learning theory, and cultural exchanges, participants develop into leaders capable of driving meaningful social change and fostering empowerment within their communities.
