Comadre Economies Holiday Pop-Up Shop
In the heart of the east side of San Antonio. We had a small COmadre Economies Pop-Up. We ran the pop-up on Fridays and Saturdays December 1st -9th from 12-7 pm. We had 10 local BIPOC vendors. Our Primary focus for our pop-ups is to be eco-friendly, affordable, and inclusive. We navigate and push barriers to shopping to be conscious and to create our alternative economies. The vendors who were part of this holiday season were:
Xicana Healing- provided healing items like fresh elderberry syrups, fire ciders, sweet grass, salves, and palo santo. The elderberry syrup was a big hit. www.lameranepantlera.com
Xochitl Holistics- made a fresh batch of Agua Florida, juniper smudges, copal mix, and breathing oil rollers. IG: Xochitl_Holistics
Sanarte- had a whole lot of teas, indigenous jewelry, smoke blend tobaccos, tinctures, and copal oils.

Lucid Candles: recycled container vegan candles. Sweet Vanilla was a hit.

Xelena- a local San Antonio author, brought some of her books, greeting card sets, candles, and loteria postcards. Can't wait for their Loteria Oracle to hit the shelf!

Mamis Honey- first time vending had fresh local honey.
Lucha de Lucero- a SWU member, brought some soft and earthly salves, copals, earrings, and zines. All are ethically sourced.

Caramel Soap- local, fresh, and vegan soaps, deodorants, lip calms, shampoo bars, and mini hand sanitizers, lotions.
